Duane and I have deepened our understanding of community that allowed the community within our marriage to deepen. It speaks volume to a marriage when others who are similar to you are allowed to commune together for the marriage journey. Marriage is a wave, it goes in and out. A marriage group in the wave allows the tide to leave some golden nuggets, while at the same time collect some of your treasures for them selves.
“Is marriage counseling necessary!? We are fine!” There is this stigma to resort to counseling only when something is wrong, however it's more about being proactive and providing resources we need to face future hardship. Eze and Keisha guided us in understanding the importance of unity. They guided us to understand that we aren’t called to just simply love each other and our mission ends there, but we have to explore our calling and live to see Christ change our world through the work He does in our marriage. God, husband, Wife.
Eze and Keisha provide continuous support, motivation, and exemplifies what marriage is. Being vulnerable with them and breaking us down to rebuild as one was the kick starter to a solid foundation in our marriage. We are forever grateful for the service they’ve provided us!!
