Is Love Blind?

We loved this article because now more than ever, you must be prepared to have tough conversation with your significant other. You can't afford to beat around the bush, "hoping" that eventually they will catch the hints. It's hard to be vulnerable and or naked in the face of adversity, but believe it or not, it's in those times that the glue is being formed to hold your marriage together.  There are teaching moments all around us if we would only first learn to:

• Pray (together and apart)

• Communicate effectively

• Listen to hear and not to speak

• Ask questions when we don't understand 

• Say I'm sorry when we don't get it right

• Stop thinking in the "single form"

• Take active steps to fully engage your marriage

We all make mistakes right? But it's how you rebound from those mistakes that truly define how your marriage will evolve. Don't compare your marriage to others, you don't know what issues they are dealing with and lastly stay committed to the work. You cannot go wrong when you FULLY engage in your marriage.
