Small Moments

While small moments may not matter in some situations, in marriages small moments should be a huge deal. We agree with the whole idea of having marital capital, we agree the more small moments a couple have the less likely the huge moments will have an impact. You are more forgiving, more apt to understand the why behind the action in stead of the action itself. When we don’t have these small moments or we don’t have the time to have that emotional, spiritual and or physical connection, when huge moments happen most of us are waiting to just pounce. And most of the time it’s not just about that moment but all of the moments that happened last week, last month or last year. We have to make sure we are taking care to really live in those small moments and really enjoy them so when huge issues come along with communication, being physical or the children, we are able to really hear what our partners are saying instead of being ready to pounce because they said something you didn’t like or you don’t agree with. Live in the small moments for some of us that is all we have! What do you think?
